About
Eric Broadie

Bio
Eric is from the eastern part of North Carolina. He grew up being surrounded by different people who enjoyed different genres of music. While in high school he had his first taste of DJing, he fell in love with the craft the first time he touch the turntables. From there he and a friend would DJ at different parties, and high school events. He would listen to mix tapes made by his favorite DJs which inspired him to create his own mix tapes. For his mix tapes, his music selection would consist of Hip Hop, R&B, Soul, Reggae, and alternative. His goals are to be able to bring that feel of good music to people no matter what the genre is. He likes to be known as that DJ that isn’t “boxed in by certain types of music”. He is inspired by a few things; music that has substance or a message, other like minded DJs that enjoy playing different music, and the reactions from people when they hear their favorite song. He’s done different birthday parties, intimate events. He's also performed at different venues around Charlotte, NC including The Harvey B. Gantt Center, VBGB at the Music Factory, the Stache House and the Fire Water Resturaunt and Lounge. He is currently doing parties and opening for different DJs. In the future he would like to create an outlet for people like himself that love music. Music is universal and he would like to do his own broadcasting of universal music. DJing to him is all about "experiencing the evolution of life through music".
